Pearl Necklace

You can blame/thank Vikki Kink's cheeky comments for inspiring this one. . .

Cheers Vikki!

I somehow managed to make it to London on Thursday morning and after spending about four hours drilling holes in the walls of The Old Shoreditch with Vickie we finally got my show hung.

Here's a selection from the eighteen drawings I'm showing. . .

Fun times at the opening.

All work in the exhibition is for sale. Go buy!

Bah, Humbug!

Illustration students at Salford university asked myself and other artists' to design a christmas card for them to sell so they could raise money for their final show.

The cards are available to buy at Urbis, Cornerhouse, and Magma in Manchester, or online at

. . .and here's what I think about Christmas! Only joking, I always have fun over the holiday, but I will end up skint, fat, and sick from all the booze. Can't wait!

Don't forget to come to my show this Thursday in London. See my previous post for all the details. . .

Oh, and if you like the T-shirt I'm wearing in the above picture then you should go to and buy a copy of Sketch Stance fanzine. It's fucking boss!

I've recently been cleaning out my computer and found a lot of photographs I've either taken myself or have been sent of tattoos based on my artwork.
I know there are a lot of tattoos out there based on my work that I've been told about but never seen, or have seen them but been unable to photograph. I've also been sent tattoos of my work from cities across the U.S. and Europe so there's probably a lot I don't even know about. It's the biggest compliment when I see a drawing I made used for a tattoo and I'd love to see them all. . .
If anyone out there has a tattoo of my artwork please email it to me (hi-res if possible), and if you include your postal address I'll send you some stickers and maybe a zine or poster or whatever else I have lying around to say thanks.

Hicksville Horror

My friend Russ Henry who organises the Hot Soup 'art party' in Bristol recently put on the Hicksville Horror party at a squat near the city centre. I went over and painted a few walls inside the venue in preparation for the night.
Here's one of the paintings I made. . .

New Zine

Here's the zine from Curious Creatures which collects everybodys work from the exhibition.

Here's my page. . .

And here's the original drawing. . .

I thought I'd lost this photograph about a year ago but found it this morning on an old CDR of my artwork. It's the only picture I have of Motorhead playing Download festival on the stage I designed the artwork for.

More Curious Creatures

Here's a photo of the Curious Creatures exhibition at Spine in Worcester. . .

Akwaba Magazine

I made this illustration for the French publication Akwaba.

I don't often use colour in my drawings but when I do I try and keep it as simple as possible. This one turned out nice.

I designed this artwork for the band Walk the Plank about two years ago but it was only recently used for a T-shirt. They're no longer together but you can still check them out on their myspace page
I also designed a 7" record cover for their Pieces of Hate series which you can see on my website

A T-shirt I designed for Paulie's Tattoo's in Liverpool. Paulie is engaged to my cousin, Debby.
Nice one!

I also designed a couple of T-shirts for Fenchurch. You can read an interview I did with them and see some new artwork here

I was asked to be part of the Bestial exhibition curated by Miss Van at the Iguapop Gallery in Barcelona.

The Cure

I was pretty excited to have been asked to design Porl Thompson's signature guitar. Incase you don't know Porl's the guitarist in The Cure .
It was manufactured by and is available now through the excellent Schecter Guitars.
