Don't - Stop - Thinking About Tomorrow!

After three years my time with The Wet Spot has finally ended. I’ve really loved working on the show, seeing all the performers, meeting loads of good people who came to watch and also everyone who worked at the venue. Thanks to everybody.

So that’s it. After three years, a shit load of work and twenty successful shows it has been a pretty amazing achievement creating such a popular event and something I'll always be proud of. Thanks again to everybody involved.

The show will be continuing but without my involvement, so don’t say I didn’t warn you when you miss my usual beast of a DJ set, hand-painted banners and artwork next time you go!

In no particular order here are my all time favourite artists we featured:

Anna Fur Laxis

Cat Aclysmic

Des O'Connor

Bijou Noir

Trixie Malicious

The Bees Knees

Betty Brawn

Missy Malone

Frank Sanazi

Cherry Shakewell

Missy Macabre

It’s time to move forward. I’ll let Fleetwood Mac have the final word…

Beyond the Pale

I have been working on my second book Beyond the Pale: the artwork of Kev Grey for the past 24 months and it is finally (nearly) finished. I can't tell you how pleased I am with how it looks and can not wait for it to be printed. Keep checking back in 2011 for news of its release!

In other news, I thought this photo of Alan's neck tattoo of my swallows would make a good final post for 2010...

Morrissey Manifestation

In November of last year I gave this portrait of Morrissey away as a gift and then a couple of weeks ago - almost a year to the day I drew it - I was having a few beers with the person I gave it to and she noticed there was a strong resemblance between the foam around the edge of my pint glass and my drawing. Spooky!

School's Out is a new group show I'll be a part of at Artoyz in Paris, France starting on the 24th of June. All artists involved were asked to do their thing on a sheet of A4 school paper.

The Bradford Classic

T-shirt I designed for The Bradford Classic car show taking place on the 17th of July in Bradford city centre.

It's going to be a huge event with tons of old cars, here are a few of my favourites from last years show. . .

Bon Voyage!

After 18+ hours done over a period of two years (I also had to find a new artist halfway through the tattoo as I wasn't satisfied with the quality of the original tattooists work) my back piece is almost finished!
Still needs some more work on it to finish it off, but you get the idea. .
