Herman Munster

In case you're wondering why I've drawn a portrait of Herman Munster you've probably just forgot how good The Munsters was, so here's the intro from the second series to remind you. . .

Neck-It!

I drew a picture of a flower and Carlos from Venezuela has had it tattooed on the back of his neck. . .

Brilliant!

Wet Ink

A few days ago I received the new flyer and tickets for the next Wet Spot, which judging by the line-up looks like it's going to be an amazing night.

As usual you can get all the details on their myspace page

For anybody who is interested I based the dancing snake charmer on one of my favourite Enoch Bolles paintings.

Lost Art

This is my new T-shirt graphic for Lost Art in Liverpool. It comes in gold on black, red on grey, and good old black on white.
This is the back print. . .

and this is the front print. . .

Nice one Mackey, lad!

They also have a new website

Lascivious

As well as the playing card I've also been working with Chloe from Lascivious on a couple of other projects, the first is this set of 'Naughtical Ties' which are basically a pair of blue and white ropes for using when getting naughty in the bedroom. Saucy.

The second project we've been working on are these stockings. . .

I don't think either of these items will be available to buy until early next year but you can keep checking their website for any updates.
They'll also be photographing one of their lovely models wearing the stockings next year which I'll post images of when I get sent them.

Click here to visit the Lascivious website.

If You Like To Gamble, I Tell You I'm Your Man...

I was asked to design a playing card for the company Lascivious and incase you haven't noticed it's the Ace of Spades, which I couldn't possibly be any happier about!

They're available to buy now from the Lascivious website and from all Magma book shops.

Fudge Factory

In October 2004 I started the drawing below and posted it to Travis Millard at Fudge Factory Comics to collaborate for a fanzine I was making. He posted it back to me in September 2008 (3 years and 11 months later!) and I finally finished it today.

The drawing missed the deadline for the fanzine by about 38 months but it still looks pretty good I think.

Cheers, Travis!

New Posters

I have two new screen printed posters for sale on my website. They measure 42 x 29.7cm, are printed on 250 g/m paper, are signed and cost £15 each including postage within the U.K.

Also available is this new T-shirt design which also costs £15 including postage within the U.K.
Available in mens sizes Medium, Large and XL!

The posters and T-shirts are exclusively available through the SHOP section of my website kevgrey.com
To make purchasing items easier I have also finally added a paypal option.

Hot Soup House kindly sent me these photo's of the process involved in printing my posters. They're a new printing/design company and should have their website hotsouphouse.com up and running soon.

CREAMY

Over the bank holiday weekend I was commissioned to be part of Creamfields 10th year anniversary festival where I was asked to paint a wall in front of a crowd. I've generally never enjoyed painting with an audience but I wanted to try and impress my girlfriend by getting us into a festival for free so I agreed to do it. It actually turned out to be a really good day and although the music wasn't to my taste, drinking strongbow and painting skulls is!

Here's a LINK to one of the short and sweet interviews I gave on the day.

Photo's from The Wet Spot!

I'm really pleased to say The Wet Spot was a huge success. All tickets sold out and unfortunately not everybody who wanted to see the show could get in but plans have already started for the next Wet Spot so make sure you get your tickets early this time!

I'm also pleased to say that I'll be doing the artwork for all future Wet Spot events, as well as being one of the resident D.J.'s.

Document +1

I was interviewed by Jo Waterhouse for the latest issue of +1 magazine. I'm guessing the best place to get a copy is in your local skateboard shop.
